Testimonial 5-10

Posted by on May 10, 2016 in Blog |

“I began having hip issues while I was pregnant and never got better, even after my daughter was born. I continued to work while I was pregnant and caring for my other 3 children. My work requires me to walk up a lot of stairs. While working, I fell a few times because of the pains and I also I had to carry things up to 50 pounds. My OB/GYN was dismissive and thought it was just regular “pregnancy pains.”  I could barley move after my daughter was born and wished I had found Dr. Fisher sooner! Dr. Fisher was very friendly and explained everything so I could understand what was going on. He had a plan to get me where I need to be and has followed through with it! The staff is amazing and treats me like family. Most practices have a sense of “not caring,” but at CCC, they DO care about you.”–Olivia...

Pregnancy Care

Posted by on Oct 7, 2013 in Blog |

Chiropractic care is extremely important before, during, and AFTER pregnancy. Due to preexisting conditions, rapid growth of your baby, and a continuously changing posture, many women experience pain and discomfort during pregnancy. Chiropractic care is a safe and effective way to relieve and even prevent common discomforts experienced during pregnancy without the use of dangerous drugs. Not only is chiropractic care good for the mother, it also provides the baby with additional comfort by allowing extra room in the pelvic bowl and reducing stress, torsion, and constraint of the uterus. A constrained uterus limits the space of the growing and developing baby and will affect his or her optimal development. Cramped conditions may also prevent the baby from being able to turn head down in preparation for delivery and can cause the newborn to have conditions such as torticollis. Dr Fisher or Cooley will work specifically with your pelvis and spine throughout pregnancy to restore a state of balance which allows for an easier and safer pregnancy and delivery. Dr. Fisher is trained in Webster...

Dr. Cooley Welcomes Dr. Fisher to Creekside Chiropractic Center

Dr. Cooley Welcomes Dr. Fisher to Creekside Chiropractic Center

Posted by on Sep 27, 2013 in Blog |

Dr. Jodi Cooley, owner of Creekside Chiropractic Center, welcomed Dr. Michael Fisher to the practice.  View Dr. Fisher’s bio below: Dr. Michael Fisher I grew up in Barnesville, Ohio and attended Ohio Valley University in West Virginia on a baseball scholarship. While there I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Science. I earned my doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2007 from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis. I have added additional post-graduate studies in Active Release Technique (a muscle and soft tissue technique), Kinesiology Taping and Pierce Adjusting Technique. My interest in Chiropractic began at a very young age when my parents would take me regularly for Chiropractic care. Going to the Chiropractor was as commonplace in my family as going to the dentist. My mother has said that I always knew I wanted to be a chiropractor. As I got older, I realized I wasn’t having the constant, recurring health issues and injuries my friends and teammates were experiencing. When I connected it all together, it could all be traced to regular chiropractic care. My goal is to use chiropractic care to become an integral part of your total health care team. I use my past experience in both athletics and professional practice to craft treatment plans aimed to help you achieve optimal health and function and to return you to all of your daily activities. I currently live in Gahanna with my amazing wife Whitney, son Cole and daughter Caroline. Besides practicing Chiropractic I enjoy exercising, spending as much time with my wife and kids as possible, and of course, OSU...
